1. Respect for copyright
If you believe content on the MoaTV service infringes your copyright, this policy describes how to submit a formal takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international copyright frameworks.
2. Submitting a DMCA takedown notice
To submit a valid DMCA notice, send a written communication to the designated agent (contact below) containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing — specific channel name or content URL on MoaTV — with enough detail to locate it.
- Contact information for the complaining party: name, address, phone number, email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that the complaining party is authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. Designated agent contact
DMCA notices should be sent to: help@moatv.us with subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice”.
4. Response timeline
MoaTV reviews valid DMCA notices within 5 business days of receipt. Material confirmed to be infringing is removed from the service within 24 hours of confirmation. The submitter receives email confirmation of removal.
5. Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing your signature, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your contact information including consent to local jurisdiction.
6. Repeat infringers
MoaTV terminates the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers in accordance with applicable law.
7. Misuse
Filing false or fraudulent DMCA notices may result in legal liability for the submitter. MoaTV reserves the right to pursue claims against parties who submit knowingly false notices.
